Hi. I’m Millie – a wife, mother, Nemaw,
traveler, writer, and still a farm girl at
heart. I treasure family, time in God’s
Word, and the ordinary rhythms of life.
Through many seasons, God has continued
to teach me to trust Him more deeply.

Here at Hopefeld, I share what I am
still learning and encourage others
to draw closer to God.

Why I Created Hopefeld

For many years, faith has been woven through the ordinary parts of my life: family, work, loss, questions, joy, and seasons of change. Again and again, I have found myself returning to God’s Word and learning to trust what He has promised.

Hopefeld grew from a desire to use the gifts and experiences God has given me to encourage others to draw closer to Him through Jesus Christ.

My hope is simple: that something you find here will lead you back to Scripture, strengthen your trust in God, and leave you wanting to spend a little more time with Him.

MY JOURNEY

Through every season, God has been faithful.
And through every season, I am still learning to trust Him.

Rooted

I started out as a farm girl in Ohio, where faith took root through family, church, and God’s Word.

Growing

I was a quiet, reserved young woman who stepped quickly into adulthood, still learning about life, love, responsibility, and how much I needed God.

Nurturing

Becoming a mother taught me that love is often lived in the small, faithful, everyday things, and that I needed God’s wisdom for the people entrusted to my care.

Restored

There were seasons when life changed in ways I never expected. Through change, loss, and beginning again, God kept drawing me back to Him and teaching me to trust Him with what came next.

Deepening

Years of work, serving others, family life, and walking with God have deepened my faith. I am still learning to return to His Word, trust His promises, and recognize His faithfulness in ordinary days.
